"One Two Four Hotel & Spa was a wonderful surprise. Most places that tout their remodeling & renovations tend to exaggerate. One Two Four looks brand new throughout the hotel. Plus the improvements include LED lights, touch controls and motion detectors. The breakfast buffet was exceptional as the chef Ashik made presentations of waffles and egg creations that rival Michelin restaurants in Paris. The private spa is a wonderful perc. "This is a beautiful hotel with phenomenal customer service. The hotel is located right on the periphery of the historic center of Ghent on a quiet street with taxi access and several restaurants. Ghent is magnificent, and when we go back, we'll definitely stay at Pillows."

"I very much enjoyed my stay at Hotel Chamade. The room was nice sized, clean, and the bed comfortable. The hotel is about a 4-5 minute walk to the main St. Petrs train station, which also has tram stops for two trams that will take you to the southern edge of Ghent's city center. This made it convenient for a day trip to Bruges by train. We did not elect the breakfast at the hotel, but there were three bakeries on the way to the train station to pick up something to eat on the way. If I visit...

"Very large spacious room. Beautiful furniture. Soft bed. Good coffee. Huge bathroom with endless hot water. Lovely snacks left for us upon arrival. Would stay again!"

"A lovely old house with excellent bedrooms and kitchen area. The little private garden at the rear was very pleasant to sit in. Polo is a very helpful host. There are a lot of roadworks going on in the area but further into the old town are all the great sights and restaurants. "
