It’s about a 20 min walk (~1 mile) to the Wenhua Road night market and pretty flat but in most smaller cities sidewalks are non-existent."

"We came to Zen and Pine Resort to hike Mt. Yushan. Although that wasn’t possible due to road closure, on the manager’s advice, we instead visited nearby Sun Moon Lake and hiked Mt. Shuishe, which was amazing and rescued our whole trip. I can’t say enough good things about the management of this property.
