"Similar scenario as other hotels in Ireland. They are not family friendly. Swimming pools kick children out by 6 PM. Nightly rates are insanely expensive. I truly don’t understand the point of a Hotel swimming pools that don’t allow children to swim in the evening"

"The G was a good place to stay in Galway. It is on the edge of walkable to the Latin Quarter, depending on the weather. The valet was a bit slow (only 1 on shift) but otherwise the staff was great. The various lounges are a cool touch and the breakfast was good if you don’t get too adventurous with your picks. "We stayed 2 nights the room was very clean and comfortable. Staff was great, friendly and most helpful. The hotel had a lot of amenities, and it was nice to have a restaurant on site that served breakfast. Free parking garage was a big plus."

"We were so happy to see that this lovely space had room for us when we had to make some last minute travel changes! The owner was kind and happy to help us out with parking or directions. The house itself was clean, quiet, and easily accessible. I would recommend it to single or group travelers, our only regret is we were too busy for breakfast! Cheers!"

"This is an excellent location, about 15-20 minutes outside of Galway. The room was clean, included two twins and was comfortable. We were on the top floor which was up two flights of stairs, only annoying when bringing the luggage in. There was parking for about 6-8 vehicles in the back, we didn't have trouble finding a space but the lot was full each morning. "Appropriately named, the room is Snug. Nice condition and right in the heart of Latin Quarter. The room is very small, no table or chair. Just a bed, bathroom and storage nook."

"The breakfast is unbelievable. It is chefs kiss good! There were wonderful touches throughout the property, especially a direct line to taxis. It’s a 12€ ride to the city centre. The staff were kind and helpful and the owners were lovely. Thank you!"
