"I have been a Bonvoy member for years and this was booked as a work trip. This was my first time at The Renaissance Andi expected so much more!!! Normally when I walk into a Marriott room the TV is on, the lights are on and the room is cool. I walked into a dark, hot room that smelled like wet dog! "The first room we were assigned was not in the main building and had a very strong, unpleasant odor. Even after moving to the main building, the property felt so dated that we could clearly hear the sewer and plumbing sounds from the upstairs bathroom. Given the high nightly rates, the value just isn’t there—especially since the resort has no official partnership or special access relationship with the TPC Sawgrass golf course."
