We couldn't believe how spacious this apartment was! Kristi, the manager, communicated with us before and during our stay, and even had a welcome basket with goodies waiting for us in the kitchen. Our unit had a great living room, full kitchen, bedroom with two big beds, and pull-out sofa. And TWO full bathrooms. After a long day of hiking, it was just perfect for the three of us. We fully recommend High Plains Lodge!

This is a very nice place. It is fully remodeled with high end upgrades. It was quiet and the owners were very responsive and messaged me quickly.

Clean room. Good amenities and friendly staff. I actually reserved one of the teepees. Due to cold weather, they moved me to one of the rooms at no additional charge. Now that’s what I call friendly and courteous staff!

We stayed at one of the motel rooms that offered a separate living room and kitchen plus two bathrooms. The room was fantastic, very spacious, comfortable, with new plumbing and appliances. The larger property is a bit idiosyncratic, as it also offers tipis to rent and RV hookups, with outdoor amenities for those interested.

Room was great, very clean. Right by the main highway so we heard the trucks go by but not bad. Very disappointed with the grounds in general. When using your site to book the grounds look like we were going to be able to set by a fire pit. Just know if you book here their is nothing to do on their grounds. But again the room was very clean and had most any thing you would need to stay and cook for days/

Air condition didn't work properly. Kitchen counters hadn't been cleaned. Ceiling fan doesn't blow the air downward. Remodeled rooms looked nice. No bedside lamps made navigating your way to the bathroom difficult.

This was a unique experience, getting to stay in a teepee! Isaac was right on time to check me in and show me around. He answered all my questions. The bed was comfortable and the teepee was spacious enough especially for one person. I very much appreciated the power strip to be able to charge my phone. The teepee I was in, didn’t tie quite right so the door didn’t close fully but there weren’t a lot of bugs and it didn’t rain. The camper with the toilet was close by and clean. I would stay at this property again, but maybe would rent a regular room next time.

Easy check-in close to 87 for easy on and off freeway and place was a neat little setup. Isaac did a great job of filling us in on rules amenities etc. clean comfortable would stay again.

What an awesome experience! I stayed in the teepee, which was unique and very comfy! And a high quality teepee that even kept a surprise rain from entering my sleeping area. It was a big help to have a nearby trailer to tend to my personal needs (bathroom, shower, and a fridge for food/beverage storage). The staff were very friendly and accommodating - from the moment I made the reservation. I hope to make it back for another awesome stay!

I liked the property location, just a couple blocks from downtown but it feels like you are out in the country. Then you open your door to a clean, beautiful suite with a living room, kitchen, bedroom and two bathrooms! The walk-in shower was the best I've encountered in my travels! I highly recommend this hidden gem!
