"The resort and location are beautiful, spacious, and extremely well-kept. We arrived at 3 pm on a Sunday, just for a one-night stay. The staff was leaving, and the amenities were closing, so we couldn't experience the restaurant, winery, or spa. We sat in the rockers and enjoyed the gorgeous view before heading into Dahlonega for dinner. Our room was extremely comfortable, and the bed was like sleeping on a cloud. We appreciated the complimentary water bottles, coffee, and tea. The walls are a bit thin, as we could hear our neighbor's TV that evening. Fortunately, he turned it off early, and we slept well. There is no elevator to the second floor of the barn-like building where our room was, so lugging our suitcases up the stairs was a bit of a chore for two 70-year-olds. Next time, we will ask for a first-floor room. We had hoped to at least have breakfast at the resort before leaving on Monday, but the restaurant was not open then either. We hope to return on a weekend at some point so we can fully experience this beautiful property."
