"First of all it could not be found. My sat nav couldn't find it. Varney Rd did not have a street sign and I don't think 44 actually exists. It took over 1 hour to locate this den. The key lockbox is situated on a wall, unmarked, and with all adjacent doors un numbered, on what can only be described as wasteland behind some shops. "Nice decor in the hotel. Breakfast was good - lots of choice and fresh. The staff were helpfully and friendly. Nice rooms. Good air con. Efficient cleaning / new towels etc. would recommend."

"The entire complex was immaculately clean and fresh. The staff were welcoming on arrival and during our stay. The facilities are exceptional as was the breakfast, more than adequate and food quality was superb. The only (very) minor negatives are: The car park is not clearly displayed as being for patrons of the hotel leading to some confusion on arrival. The sofa bed I slept on was as hard as a rock, not very comfortable to be perfectly honest. However, on the whole, an exceptionally good...

"Quality establishment with individual character (eg original modern art works throughout the hotel) well maintained in a lovely part of Nottingham within a short walk of the city centre. Has a small car park for an additional charge. Excellent breakfast."

"Hotel is near the Jubilee campus but not near city centre. Clean and big room and staff was helpful. We had to pay for carpark at £6 per day. There used to be free carpark before this. It would be good if hotel guests are given free carpark like before as the price of the hotel stay is not cheap."

"This is a really good hotel. The location is great for the theatres and cinema in Nottingham. It's in front of Rock City and a 20 min walk from the station. There are good restaurants nearby but the hotel also has 2 restaurants, room service and bar meals. It's worth upgrading to use the Club Lounge too. Comfy beds, quiet rooms and a bath! Theres a pool and soa too. No complaints!"
