"We wanted a property right on the beach for an early September getaway . surf Suites was perfect. The property is well maintained and all of the room appliances are in excellent condition. The view from the balcony was perfect. The weather was great and the beach is very nice. The property is next to the Oceanic restaurant and pier. No charge to walk on pier and fish. Room is large and furnishings are comfortable."

"This has to be the best place in Buxton! The staff was awesome they have clean comfortable we arrived early and were welcome to put our things in the room and go enjoy the beach. Loved having use of the kayaks, crab cages, fire pit, outdoor games, bicycles! Amazing place definitely would go again."

"We like the quaint, beachy feel of the hotel, and the views from the 2nd and 3rd floor deck of the ocean. It's very walkable to Jennettes pier, stores and restaurants. We have stayed here probably a dozen times over the years."
