"The convenience of the hotel is the reason we use it when flying from Glasgow however we have noted over the years the overall deterioration of the carpets, fixtures and fittings. The price is over the top for the state of the hotel even if we are able to get a 'cheaper' option which is very rare. Carpets between the lifts and rooms on the 5th floor are a trip hazard especially for the older generation as we are (79 & 71). We can't carry suitcases but find it very difficult to 'drag' them along...
