"One of our favorite places to stay on our way through Michigan. Front staff are VERY friendly and VERY helpful. Property and rooms are very clean. Breakfast is better than most other places with scrambled eggs (not clear if box mix or just well scrambled), bacon strips (processed, but real meat), oatmeal, several choices of cereals, fresh bananas/apples, yogurt, waffles, and breads/toast. Pool is nice, but too small for swimming. Did not try hot tub, but looked nice. Rooms have very high ceilings and the usual amenities, but two common problems: 1) double queen rooms have a centre table for charging phones, but nothing on the other two sides. 2) The intermittently flashing "ready" light on the smoke detector is eyelid-piercingly bright white for no sensible reason (a dim solid green would be just as effective), so bring eyeshades."
