"This is our go to spot for our annual Bar Harbor trip for about 8 years now. It’s a toss up between the main building (more expensive but lovely rooms and very nice breakfast) and the motel (more Spartan and no breakfast but less expensive and still comfortable) every year, but we are happy with either - just depends on availability and my wallet. Easy walk to a coffee and breakfast spot (Choco-latte but get there super early or place an order ahead as the line gets long) and the village...

"Great location, right next to town square and Island Explorer buses town hub. Easy to walk everywhere in town. Staff is friendly but sometimes seemed unprofessional, perhaps a training issue? Breakfast is a light buffet spread- omelets available if you want. We appreciated they always had a tall dispenser of ice water (and iced coffee) in the lobby. We had a King Room - small with a tiny bathroom, and a "French balcony" which we opened sometimes to get fresh air in the room. The shower stall so...

"The location was great to walk to almost everything. Was able to take a trolley to the park for a tour which we would highly recommend. The room was very clean. Shower was great lots of pressure.
