who ever owns this property I met him ,seems to be very humble. He needs to update this property . i dont mind paying more if everything is well maintained and welcoming.

Staff was alright, old motel with thin walls and noisy patrons. Property not in good shape, doubt I'll be back.

Ok but would recommend staying elsewhere

Our stay started off well because the girl working the front desk was friendly and competent. The room appeared okay, but there is about an inch gap between the air conditioning unit and the wall, allowing us to see outside. The water pressure in the bathroom was excellent. Overall, the room was okay if somewhat shabby. Breakfast was kind of funny. What is advertised as "breakfast provided" is a container of frosted flakes and a quarter full half gallon of milk. The main reason to stay here is that it seems to be the only pet friendly motel in the area.

Just don't go there,

We had 2 night's reservation. Could not wait to leave after first night. Reserved thru Expedia, so no refund . Too bad, they should have had a warning sign about how awful this place would be. Granted, not a lot of choice in Mexico, MO, but, really this bad. Yes, there is a small fridge, a small microwave, and I guess wifi...I didn't try that. The room is musty, dark, and the rug is rumpled from doorway on. We did not shower, because the tub/shower did not look clean. The checkin person was pleasant. The owner was not pleasant and not readily available. No coffee in the room and available in the office from 7-10. Breakfast: super joke: one cereal, coffee, period. How can Expedia condone this. Really disappointed with them and will not reserve thru Expedia again.

This motel is very old and out dated. Not at all clean. No counter in the restroom and only one plug in attached to the light fixture.

Outdated, needs repairs, unruly clientele

I wouldn't recommend this hotel nor would I stay here again. It's badly outdated and needs repairs. The people in the room behind ours were awful - loud, fighting and throwing things around. Not only did we have to endure it through paper-thin walls, but the hotel owned called our room thinking it was us and told us to keep it down. Just awful!

Emergency stay only

It is run down to below basic. Need a lot of work to be ok. Staff was nice but hard to understand. Stay there because wasn't any other place to stay. A/C had a noise all night, you could see outside (1" open) in the bottom of the door. (Keep wondering what insect will come in when I was sleeping. You couldn't close the bathroom door..... I leave the rest to your imagination!

Run, run away, as fast as you can.

I cannot believe that they allow that place to remain open. I have been in abandon houses that were in better shape. It was supposed to be a non smoking room, but the bed spread had cigarette burns. These burns were copies of the ones on the carpet. The room smelled like an ashtray. I had to stay here because there was nothing else left. Do yourself a favor and sleep in your car. It is cleaner and more comfortable.

America's Value Inn Motel in Mexico, Missouri

Waited over 30 mins to get checked in because I did an online reservation. The paint was falling off the doors on every room. They don't even leave the office to clean your room; instead they call you. This is not a family place....it's more for random hook ups!
