"We researched dog friendly hotels and booked ahead but when we got there we were turned away! This hotel is part of the larger brand but was not welcoming or friendly….. locals shared that they are not welcoming which is an affront to tourism in this area…..if you run into this be sure to check out everywhere else as it is a lovely welcoming community except for this one location"

"Was told hot tubs were working. We specified that we would be moving a reservation from in Cranbrook just to enjoy pool and hot tubs. I spoke to receptionist at the hotel via phone. Arrive to find #1 hot tubs are cold, jets not working. #2 breakfast is in restaurant, expensive. #3 steam room not working. #4 small barking dog left in room next to us, no owner present. This was a dismal stay. Was supposed to be a nice, special weekend trip. Had to debase myself asking for a discount to room....

"Checked in to go to room to find it’s a queen bed room not king as we had booked. Had to go back to discuss with manager who was aware but did not tell us at.check in or offer discount until I asked. Place needs a facelift, tired out the front, worn linen, limited things in kitchenette. Was clean and things all worked in room. Breakfast was average with the lovely front desk lady having to juggle breakfast top ups and help with front desk duties."
