"A gem of a place. A boutique hotel minus the pretentiousness. Lovely staff, gorgeous grounds, clean and well decorated. The AC had to do overtime as it was a warm couple of days but it kept the room warm enough. The continental breakfast is generous and can be eaten indoors or outdoors. The location is perfect. Close to the piazza with excellent restaurants within a minute of walking. The Larix is our favorite place in Kimberley."

"A very basic hotel room. We got a room in the front of the hotel and you could hear the traffic noise through out the night. This hotel could use some updating."

"Very clean and comfortable room. We would definitely recommend this place and would stay again while in the area, despite the fact that our room was on the 3rd floor and we got stuck in the elevator for 10 min. before it started moving again. We had sounded the alarm but apparently couldn’t be heard. The front desk staff indicated that they had the elevator fixed 1 min. after hearing the alarm, but their alarm must not have gone off the 9 minutes before when we were trying to get attention. "I have nothing g good to say about this hotel. Almost no amenities and was hoping for at least a reasonable breakfast. But no effort was made in that department. Imagine having no juice option but wanting to serve your guests pop fist thing in the morning. The hotel has just one microwave for the guest so we have to leave our rooms to heat up things. Coupled with how dark the rooms are with faulty sockets. If Do not recommend!!!"
