Pool was not available during my stay (and only revealed at check-in), TV signal went out for an entire night, Internet went out for a couple of hours, and while housekeeping was pronounced as available only upon request, they went into my room without authorization anyway.

It’s in the middle of a renovation now (10/2026) so it’s noisy and some rooms are partially updated. Some things don’t work. Staff is super friendly and helpful. The area is quite nice and walkable to many shops & restaurants. I’m sure the hotel will be great once the update is complete.

Over priced and not worth it…we booked this place based on the website and it was nothing like it was advertised. Our room stunk, carpet was wet, bathroom was unhygienic, and the whole room was dirty. My family and I checked in and literally walked out to find a different hotel to stay in… definitely not booking this hotel again

I liked the style of the room, it was nice to have a sitting area separate from the bedroom and bathroom. Our lamp was broken and could have shocked me, the keurig coffee maker would have been nice if it worked. The worst part is the clerk offered me a discount but then said she couldn’t give me one because I used Expedia and I had to go to Expedia. Expedia didn’t receive a response from the hotel and didn’t do anything for me.

We reserved this hotel only to get there and the first room smell super musty, then, the second room still had crumbs on the table and the bed was all wrinkled like they laid on it after cleaning, and walking out of the room there was a fingernail in the doorway.

This hotel for the location is terrible. The building is old and they tried to attempt some remodeling but the hallways and rooms are old and smelly. The carpets are dingy looking and everything in the room is besides the coffee maker is outdated. The bar / restaurant area has no ventilation so while you are waiting on your food you’re getting all the smoke coming out of the kitchen. The rooms, not great.. the bathroom still has a huge tub and the walls are very thin, I stayed on the second floor and literally could hear every step the people above me were making. To be in the Polaris area I thought this would be a top tier hotel but was sadly mistaken. Will never stay again.
