I wasn't expecting much and I got what I expected.
Easy check-in, okay parking, exterior was a little run down.
Room was fine. Clean for the most part. It smelled heavily of chemical cleaner that we became noseblind to within an hour or so. Once we left and returned the smell also returned, but we did notice it pretty quickly.
The bed was comfortable, the pillows were flat and old, but clean, or at least we didn't notice anything unusual.
The bedspread needed washing. It has evidence of other folks' physical exploits. We just threw it to the floor at the foot of the bed. The sheets and thin blanket appeared clean.
There was a microwave and small fridge. Both met our needs. There was also a full sized fridge, unplugged. Maybe they use this room for storage?
No clothes hangers, which seemed odd.
The carpets were newish, but a previous occupant managed to burn a perfect circle, about a foot in diameter in the floor. What a shame.
Ceiling tiles showed water marks, likely painted over with Kilz or something similar. These were odd, as they were located in an area where any water would be hard to find.
Our biggest issue, one old roller desk chair, no table, no other place to sit.
The internet was spotty at best and the TV suggested we could use our own streaming apps, but with no internet, even casting wasn't possible.
We've stayed in better, but we've stayed in much worse.
I guess this one fits the old adage, you get what you pay for.
