For the price point, it was OK, but it really bothered me that the room felt humid. Cons for my visit of 2 days/nights *The room smelled damp. It was damp because there are no ;outlet fans in the bathroom, just a vent in the wall. This made the room feel musty, *The elevator floor was very dirty, lots of dirt and gunk around the edges *The maid did not offer to clean the room of vacuum it the second day. Only the towels were replaced. The hotel was supposed to clean every day unless the visitor declined. *there was mildew on parts of the tub *The water dispenser in the corner of the breakfast area had a blinking light saying the filter needed to be changed. * there was a desk in the room, but there was no chair to use the desk. A bed, a loveseat and no chair comfortable TV viewing only happened sitting on the bed, which did not help my back. I arrived about 5 PM the first day, went to get some coffee and the coffee was stale from the morning and lukewarm. Lighting in the room was not sufficient for reading unless I was sitting right next to the lamp PROS: * the price point was good; however, there were several noticeable issues in the building *The people behind the desk were extremely helpful, offering service just about every time I saw them. Very good! * I asked for a quiet room and the desk opened one for me on the third floor. * the large mirror in the bathroom was well lighted. *waffles seem to be in high demand and they had two waffle makers.

This property was a little out dated then I thought it was very old. The lighting is the rooms are really dull but during the day you get the lighting from the windows. The bed was not very comfy it was sunken in at not very firm. The room was far just out dated furniture. The hallways and staircase did have a smell to them not sure what from maybe from the carpet being older. The stay was very kind, nice and genuine. The lady the ran the breakfast area was super awesome nice and very helpful. Front desk staff was friendly engaging and was very helpful. It was a family vacation so one of the rooms we booked did have ants in it they said from all of the rain that was happening but the did end up fixing the problem thank to the manager.

Overall, our stay was decent, primarily because of the friendly staff and convenient location. Everyone we interacted with was pleasant and helpful, and the hotel was situated in a good area with easy access to nearby attractions and restaurants. That said, the property could use some maintenance and updates. The hotel had a noticeable musty smell throughout our stay. In our room, the towel holder on the back of the bathroom door was broken, and the shower was frustrating to use because the valve appeared to be malfunctioning, resulting in very low water pressure. A complimentary breakfast was available, but the selection was extremely basic with limited options compared to what many hotels currently offer. We ended up going to Tim Horton's.

Our room was adequate. However, we were inconvenienced on our first night as the toilet did not flush and telephone did not work to call the front desk. We went in person to the front desk and asked for help. The maintenance man was gone for the day, and the night man at the front desk came to help us and was able to get the toilet to flush. He intimated that we would get a discount on our room rate for being inconvenienced and he would make a note of it for the daytime staff. When checking out, we were NOT given a discount.

Strips there for 3 hours arguing over booking I had all 3 conformations and still had to argue over the rooms as 8 of my family members waited in the nasty lobby! NEVER AGAIN !!
