"I had a really excellent stay here and one of the best night’s sleep I’ve had in a hotel in a long time. The room was very comfortable, spotlessly clean, and clearly part of a recent refurbishment. Everything felt fresh, well decorated, and well looked after.
What stood out even more than the room was the customer service. Laura was exceptional. She genuinely couldn’t do enough to help and made the welcome feel personal rather than the usual transactional check-in you get at most hotels.

It's an 18th century cellar for goodness sake!!! Stone floors are part of the charm.
