"Communication with the staff prior to the stay was very good. A taxi was arranged for us per our request for the airport which was very helpful. The property itself was very unique and tasteful in a historic building. There was no staff on site however. We were left keys and there was motion activated lights and remote activated access. One con was it was still quite warm even in early October for our one night stay and there was no air conditioning or even a fan. If we had been there longer, we would have asked about a fan. The room was very clean and well done. There was a large window we opened for air. For people with limited physical abilities, it is three flights up carrying your luggage and no elevator in this building. We got up too early to be able to get the breakfast so can't assess that. There is a nice sandwich place and gelateria downstairs. I would recommend a stay here in general if you enjoy unique historic properties."

"The room was modern and comfortable. This small hotel is the top floor of the building and has access to a rootop terrace. It's located on a pedestrian street filled with restaurants and shops. The desk clerk was very nice and helpful, including with suggestions on where to go. Note that the desk is staffed only for a few hours every day and you need to let them know when you'll be checking in so someone can be there. We checked out very early in the morning and found it charming that we had to exit the building courtyard through a small door set in the giant wooden door."

"One of the best hotels we have stayed at in Italy, the rooms were spotless the staff was great and the hotel restaurant was excellent l normally stay away from hotel restaurants but this was an exception,breakfast was excellent also,it was great to come back to this hotel after the wonderful chaos of Naples. The decor is tastefully done with soft relaxing colors. The location is so convenient right across from the train station."

"This is a fantastic pre cruise hotel, requiring only one taxi ride. Because it's literally on the cruise ships pier, you walk out and check in to your ship! We weren't impressed with the small restaurant associated to the hotel, but many restaurants available within a 5 or 10 minute walk. The breakfast room, whilst a limited number of options, we thought was very good. The rooms are very large, and have a small separate area with sofa absolutely ideal. In Naples beginning a cruise, this would always be our first port of call."

"Advertisement: Average expectations - Room description in Hotel.com was accurate, pictures shown Location: Average expectations - Conveniently close and walkable, with easy access to nearby attractions. Safe area, Cleanliness: Average expectations - Room clean and neat. Room Comfort: Average expectations - Was reasonably comfortable, it did meet our expectations overall. Staff & Service: Average expectations – They were polite, friendly and helpful. I didn’t like the idea of leaving my room key at the front desk anytime leaving the hotel as requested. Also parking was sketchy, the front desk reoffered you to a parking space outside and price was a little abusive, and opening time not convenient. Amenities: Average expectations - Basic offer compared with the price. Value: Average expectations - We feel the hotel provided good value for the money we paid. Breakfast: We left early, we didn't have a chance to experience the breakfast, we believe it was not offered and or included as part of the price paid. Atmosphere: Average expectations Overall: Average expectations - we were satisfied with our stay and would probably choose to stay here again. Recommendation: Based on our experience, we will recommend this hotel"
