"Lovely property and setting. Very welcoming host. Very nice breakfast. Only shotfalls were very minor - things that may not have been considered unless one had actually stayed in the rooms. E,g. Over sink in bathroom a small (maybe glass) shelf under mirror to place toothbrushes, paste, makeup, deodorant type things would have been appreciated. A cup holder and glass, for those of us who take meds. Also, we who read to go to sleep at night would be grateful for a headboard and a small night...

"The Wood View House is a stunningly beautiful B&B. Our hosts we welcoming and helpful; and our bed was the most comfortable I have ever slept in. The house is convenient to downtown, and an easy walk to the dock the boat tours leave from. As a bonus there is a very nice intimate restaurant that serves delicious food at dinner."

"This is a heritage house with large rooms. It is quiet and walking distance to restaurants and the waterfront. Parking in front is easy. The breakfast was creative and excellent. Would be happy to stay there again!"

"We enjoyed the coffee and tea that was available 24-7. We enjoyed our coffee in the morning on the back porch. The grounds of the house are very pleasant. The house was very clean and I liked parking on the property. We enjoyed dinner at the purple house and breakfast at pistachio Café. Both were recommended by the host."

"Very comfortable beds. Nice newer hotel with extrs amenities which was a nice. A pool table, fools ball table and board and card games in addition to the nice pool and gym. Continentsl breskfast wss good including both hot and cold items. Overall this hotel is excellent and I would gladly stay again."

"The check in took way too long…close to 40 minutes. Not sure if it was the Internet service or the computer or the employee. The continental breakfast was very good. And the staff working was super helpful and very considerate. Explained how to use the unique pancake machine first ever I had seen. The beds were comfortable."

"Room smells bad. I found lots of mosquitos in the room. They told me heated pool but pool water was cold and very dirty pool. Breakfast was only pancake( if you don't like pancakes, you will have to go out and have your breakfast. Very bad experience at all."

"We visited the site 20+ years ago and it was a bit tired then. While some updates have happened, the hotel isn't close to what it could be, or should be for the cost of the room. The dining room was empty at 600 on a Thursday. Although the hotel name still includes "spa", there is no spa - a casualty of Covid apparently. The dining room is a good size and has a great view, and there is also a rooftop patio. Great for boaters to tie up to the dock as well. Reception area is fairly large, but...
