"It was a little tough to find the place, but once I did the stay was great. The owner lives in a new house on the lake and rents out the bottom floor to guests. James was very helpful in getting me settled. Everything is new and up to date. The place is a couple miles outside Oughterard village so you probably need a car to best enjoy the place "

"The laundry room was dirty. There were no instructions for using the stove, oven, water heater. No coffee maker and the kettle was corroded. The downstairs bathroom smelled awful. The beds were very uncomfortable. We tried to get an Uber but they refused to come to this address. The advertising of this house gave false expectations. The owners left a message that they needed to send an electrician to fix the dining area light. No one ever came so we had no light. "

"Very clean. Beds very comfortable. Area perfect. No issues. Just the location wasn't as close as some people may like. Cab around €9-€11 but that's the only bad thing. Which is minor. But will definitely be staying there again. Definitely recommend it. Especially a group of people."

"Es la primera vez que opino sobre un alojamiento. Nunca he tenido una experiencia tan lamentable. El agua de la ducha fría. La limpieza sólo pongo un ejemplo: ropa sucia en los cajones que me imagino que de otros huéspedes anteriores. Olor a humedad en la planta baja . En general no lo recomiendo a nadie este sitio. Me parece una tomadura de pelo. Relación calidad precio , un robo."

"Not a Hotels.com accommodation! This is an apartment and managed by multiple individuals which led to poor communication and a not so great stay. The contact number was unanswered the entire day of our stay despite multiple calls. The apartment owner did call us back 8 hours after our initial call. We arrived within 'check-in' hours to an empty facility prior to his call back and wandered around aimlessly until he called back in which we had to go to another location to pick up the keys. "Love this place! I was traveling with my aunt and uncle and the two bedroom apartment with a view of the water was wonderful. The apartments are in a really cute part of town and there are some fun restaurants within easy walking distance along with an ATM, a little grocery store, and a great bakery. Just note... the parking is VERY tight. If you have anything other than a compact, prepare for a very tight squeeze... especially if you are parked up against one of the support beams."
