"It's a whole experience up on the mountain but also all amazingly close to town. We loved an upgrade to a larger room with balcony, fireplace, two washrooms and a small kitchen (more than a kitchenette, with oven, pots and pans etc). The bed was comfortable. The sofa beds were standard sofa beds. We opted to go to Williamson lake in the summer rather than the pool (it was nice but busy). The lake was lovely and close by. "All the staff we spoke to could not have been more helpful they were excellent. The room was good, Lots of space, comfy bed. Our room in my opinion was let down by lack of maintenance. Our shower was a walk in type but the floor in the bathroom did not drain properly so was flooded after a shower and the grouting was missing in many of the tiles. My other comment was the rather sad breakfast. The hot food was not hot but less than cool. All in all I probably would not choose to stay there again."

"Room was very clean! Loved the Nespresso machine both in the room and the one in the lobby that makes all types of coffees. Staff were very kind and accommodating! Also loved the convenience of the shuttle to and from the hotel to downtown."

"The property is beautiful, laid out with a variety of cabins and glamping. We booked a suite and it was on the top floor of the main office. It was quite noisy as we were right beside the highway and as people came and went from the building, the door to our suite rattled quite a bit. The suite was clean and comfortable."

"Wow!! Was getting a bit worried driving beside the monster hydro lines, but you turn the corner to the amazing Glacier House Resort. We had a cabin and it was delightful. Bbq and kitchen make life easy and relaxing. Plus breakfast buffet was a nice touch."

"Convenient location. Very clean room. Very good staff. Lots of open parking. Very good air conditions. 24 hours tea and coffee were available to all guests in the lobby as well as in rooms. We stayed there for two nights. Recommend this property."
