"This hotel is stunning - Beautiful old hall in fantastic gardens. The bedroom was absolutely 5* nicely furnished and modern The staff were lovely and friendly and tbh one of the nicest hotels I’ve stayed at in a long time! I think it would be 5* if it had a restaurant and spa but otherwise it’s excellent "

"During our stay at the hotel, we appreciated the exceptionally clean rooms and the daily upkeep of cleanliness. The staff were highly professional and attentive to guests, providing valuable information about local tourist attractions. Although I did not utilize the spa services, I found the indoor play area for children to be remarkable, and the breakfast offered was quite satisfactory. Overall, the experience was very positive."

"Room and bedroom were lovely, french doors with garden outdoor view , you would not expect that from the front door of your room and the front area , bit shabby and dated, saying that bathroom very dated was clean but could do with modernization. Pool was my biggest let down, small very busy and again generally little shabby , temp was good , but I didn't stay in for long , on our visit jacuzzi was full of young lads , all friends couldn't get near it . Quite a walk to breakfast from our room/ chalet, so took car ( disabled) breakfast very basic , can't say much more, not memorable. The area is beautiful, river and scenery, cute shops , obviously expensive, train area good place to visit , enough places to eat and get coffee , we come back regularly so great place. Carpark is broken up deffo needs attention. ."

"Nice clean rooms. No lift. The meals and bar area are very good. Parking on site. The only downside was in our rooms the tv only had four random channels one day and none the next. "

"Very pleasant stay. Perfect full English breakfast. Parking on premises or at side of the quiet road if full. The hotel is only 2 star as it is a little dated re decor, but it is very clean, warm & comfortable. Loo rolls & clean towels replaced regularly. A well looked after & well run B&B. We were in room 10 and the shower was a bit weak, however we are used to a power shower with high water pressure at home so maybe that’s why we noticed it. We would definitely stay again. The hosts were very welcoming, friendly & helpful. "
