"Great room.. lots of space. Fab gym to get a workout done. Aircon bliss. Beds so comfy. Lovely staff"

"Overall stay was okay, venue in itself was clean and well maintained. However there was no restaurant open due to a conference being held, only the bar was open with a limited menu. Food took over an hour to arrive and staff had to be reminded several times. On arrival food was cold and at that point not enjoyable for the overly expensive price."

"I liked the location near the motorway - it's a busy golf and leisure club. Car park was full. Very quiet location, rooms spacious but there's no air conditioning. Nice bar where you can get a drink or a snack. Breakfast was nice - service not quite on point"

"Old World Charm. The cottage style single rooms were gorgeous. Staff were so friendly and helpful. It was the hottest few days of the year but they remained cool and calm. The food was excellent. Couldn't recommend it enough. Looking forward to being able to go back again."

"Didn’t get offered our VIP perk. Did ask for late checkout and it was offered which was great but housekeeping came in without knocking. Reported TV didn’t work and no-one came to fix it. Breakfast manager was v grumpy. Mixed bag but would probably would use again!"

"I booked a room for one night. I was allocated room 440. The room was unbearably hot and was uninhabitable as a consequence. Despite my protestations I was unable to move rooms and ended up having to sleep in the car. I ended up asking for a refund which is yet to be forthcoming. I am waiting to hear from the nanager"

"Lovely hotel, lovely staff, good pub. We had a nice stay. Unfortunately, we were there when temperatures were 30C and above, and there is no air conditioning, making the nights difficult. Also, they could improve the quality of their linens. Sheets are a bit scratchy."

"The hotel staff were kind and accommodating! The hotel decor was questionable. The elevator (lift) was tiny, the halls are very dark and narrow! The room was clean, however there were several dead bugs (bees) on the window sill. We did not eat there so I can comment on the food! Transportation to and from the airport is 5 GBP per person each way! Bus was close to schedule but rarely on time. I think that the next time we visit London we’ll stay in London instead of Gatwick."
