"This was one our favorite hotels of all the states we have visited. (25 states). It was a little dated, but that was what made the place so charming. The wooden furniture was older but was so comfortable. There were lots of surfaces to set things in our room. We had a window in our room with a view of the water. "The property smelled musty and the sheets were filthy. There were roach droppings and random bug parts in the sheets. I ended up leaving after being denied a refund and had to drive 3+ hours back home in the middle of the night. I asked the clerk about a refund after coming back from the conference I was at around 11pm. Since I checked in at 7pm, dropped my bags and went back to my conference he said I was not entitled to a refund."
