"Do not stay there in summer!! It's awful!! Way to hot and and no air conditioner or fan, you have to open the window to get some air into the room and the street noise and early sunrise will wake you up (if you are able to get any sleep at all) at 4am."

There was no air conditioning, and even though it wasn’t particularly warm outside, the room felt stuffy and extremely hot every night due to poor ventilation.
