"We stayed for a week at Crusoes Retreat. It is the 3rd time we have stayed here. The last time was 10 years ago. To say the condition had gone downhill is an understatement. The once thatched roofs are now rusted with twigs left. Some Bures have had the roofs replaced. The beachfront bar is rotting and never opened. "Really lovely budget friendly resort, perfect for families. Accommodation was clean, best hot shower I've had in weeks! Great water pressure too! Small fridge in room with drink making facilities. "What a beautiful place! It was very convenient to stay here with our baby and the staff were so overwhelmingly joyous and helpful with him. Book a room away from the pool area as the loud music was a challenge for day naps. "Fiji time" will mean you miss out on things so if you're Type A, don't go with the flow completely and book ahead for activities like the glass bottom boat and restaurants.
