"This is a really lovely hotel on the outskirts of Positano which combines modern facilities with traditional charm in perfect balance. The staff are brilliant, there's a restaurant attached to the hotel where breakfast is served, all situated in a vibrant area just outside the main town, so it's quiet at night too. Would love to return one day."

"Rooms are cleaned and attended to, however, due to poor ventilation there is evidence of black mold in the washroom. Outdoor patio area, not tidy or appealing, glassware left from other guests, several bulbs burnt out on the patio, not attended to as to make it an area a guest would want to visit or hang out at. Front staff, not very knowledgeable of attractions or events to guide a tourist. Breakfast was well stocked and varied. Natural on this place as it does only what is needed...minimum...

"The hotel is really nice and very well situated. It was easy to jump on the ferry, and we did the lemon hike, which was amazing. Breakfast at the hotel was excellent, and the staff were fantastic. We highly recommend this place and would definitely return on another holiday."

"We had an awesome stay at this hotel. The cleaning staff were very attentive, and provided a wonderful service. Breakfast was great every day and the wait staff in the restaurant in the evening were fantastic. The two guys that ran the pool bar were awesome as well. Massages were great and we used the sauna and indoor thermal pool as well. We were sad to leave when we did but most certainly will be back. Ciao ciao."

"We'd like to thank the staff of La Conchiglia for a wonderful stay. We'd especially like to call out Salem for staying late for us on our check in day due to flight delays that made us arrive much later than our original expected arrival time. Salem was very patient with us and we really appreciated the above and beyond service he provided. The breakfast each morning was also very good and is one thing that we are already missing now that we're home. Thank you La Conchiglia!"

"Millions of stairs to climb with your luggage. The helper can only carry one, so you’re stuck with the rest.. 82 stairs on high elevation. Elevator broken during one point so now your walking up more stairs to your room. The spa only has one masseuse so no couples massages. One goes while the other waits. The room was nice. Just getting to it was an issue"
