"Everything about this hotel is just perfect
From check in to check out all the staff bartenders,waiters ,cleaners and the desk staff were thoroughly professional
I have stayed in Cork several times and i rate this hotel as good if not better than most
And it is only a fraction of of the others prices

"It was quite expensive to stay there for 4 nights (over 1000 euros on a holiday weekend) so I was expecting a commensurate room. The room was quite small and the bathroom door even smaller.
It required anyone who is 6 feet tall or taller to duck down or else bang their head (which I did on one occasion). I have stayed in hundreds of hotels all over the world and never seen anything like this. Nowhere on their website or at check-in does it forewarn guests about the mini door.

"Super clean and aesthetically pleasing hotel! Everything is beautiful and carefully thought out. The room itself is a tad bit small but still works! The AC didn’t go below 18c and barely would blow during the heatwave Ireland was having and the drain in the shower wouldn’t drain so you stood in water. Other than that I would still recommend this hotel!"

Good to have a community room with kitchen available, stove, kettle, tv, couches, Needs more utensils for eating meals.
Helpful to have tea bags, milk, sugar, toiletries etc at the front desk.
Very loud banging of doors that Interrupts sleep. Needs silent closures for doors.
Needs clothes/ towel hanger in bathroom.
Price is too high for very loud noise with doors banging and an interrupted sleep .

"This was probably my favorite hotel of all the ones we stayed during our tour of Ireland. It was once a hospital and has a lot of neat history. It is located in the Shandon area, very near some beautiful Cathedrals. It is a bit of walk to the actual shopping, but would definitely stay here again. The staff was very nice and accommodating. We stayed in a family room, and it was perfect! King bed in the center, twin beds on each side!"
