"It is a lovely stately old home with rooms that are fairly large. As to be expected, the floors creak, the doors let lots of light under them etc. Breakfasts were interesting and the savoury options were very tasty. The place needs a bit of general maintenance (loose knobs on cabinets and shower, squeaky door hinges, dead batteries in the gas fireplace starter etc). "This property was budget friendly and easy to get to. There is nothing around it for restaurants without a drive. The paint was cracking on the walls and property could use an upgrade. "Our room was clean and good for 1 night stay. The lobby was not clean and the breakfast was actually bad unless you stuck to toast and yogurt. The restaurant for dinner was good. There seemed to be a lot of people loitering in the lobby at every time of day which was unusual. "
