"We absolutely loved our stay at Ocean Eden Bay Resort! The resort was clean, peaceful, and beautiful, and we had an amazing time. The food was delicious, the staff was friendly and professional, and even the other guests made the experience enjoyable. Three staff members really stood out to us. Bridget at Marlin’s Restaurant went above and beyond to make sure we were satisfied and well taken care of. Tyrone was extremely professional, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed. Lee was so enthusiastic and energetic, and she brought such a great vibe to the pool area—she truly helped make it perfect! All of the staff were wonderful, but Bridget, Tyrone, and Lee really made our stay extra special. We have nothing negative to say about our experience. We loved the peaceful atmosphere, the cleanliness, the food, and the outstanding service. We had an amazing vacation and would definitely return!"

"If you like big resorts, this might be the one for you. The resort itself is beautiful, well maintained, and has a nice pool/lagoon and a beautiful beach. There is also a good variety of food. However, the service was disappointing and understaffed. The check-in process took way too long, and getting to and from the rooms took a lot of time. The resort is very large, so there is a lot of walking, and when you call for a ride, the wait can be quite long. Breakfast was another issue. Most mornings, we waited at least 20 minutes for coffee. Sometimes I would finish eating before the coffee was even served. There is also very little convenience outside the resort, so you need to take a taxi to get around town. The resort has several restaurants, but it was difficult to get a reservation, so we ended up eating at the buffet every day. Overall, this is a beautiful resort, but be prepared for large crowds, lots of walking, long waits, and inconsistent service. If you prefer smaller, quieter resorts with more personalized service, this may not be the best choice."

"The check-in staff are always polite and friendly, and the cleaning staff are lovely too. Most of the bar staff are also friendly and attentive. Unfortunately, there is one member of staff whose attitude towards me has been quite rude and unwelcoming. On the three occasions I approached her, I received the same attitude, and she didn’t seem happy to serve me. I’ve always stayed at SamSara whenever I’m in Negril and have generally had a great experience, but sadly, this has made me think twice about returning."
