"This place is absolutely wonderful from the welcome, to the unique building itself, the apartment and especially the roof terrace and views! The building is in a vibrant part of the city with lots of bars and restaurants, and easy access to key tourist sites. Highly recommended!"

"This place was advertised as luxurious and convenient and we were thoroughly disappointed. Starting with the logistics of getting a car parked on the very crowded streets and wheeling the luggage for 5 blocks to the place, the tediousness of getting to the centre and the difficulty of loading back luggage with no loading zone in front of the place. Once at the building were told the the room was not ready (after 3 pm ) and asked to come back. When back the room was not ready again. Our last day...

"Place overall is beautiful and immaculate. The cleaning staff team were always professional and efficient, with a lot of kindness checking in frequently to see if we needed any amenities. Location is within walking distance to the Acropolis and city center locations. Roughly 15-20 mins by foot. There's a pool up in the rooftop along with BBQ amenities."

"Great spot ! And very comfortable. Also close to the main sites to see and walking distance to some great restaurants. If you’re looking for somewhere more mellow and not too in the thick of it, this is a great place to stay. "

"Very spacious with plenty of room for my family of five, two adults share one room, two teenage daughters shared one room, and teenage son had a room to himself. Clean and has everything you need for a comfortable stay including two full bathrooms, a full kitchen with everything you need to cook your own meals. As well a laundry washer/dryer combo unit in the kitchen area. Nice wrap around balcony to chill out, street view so boring special to look at, but still a nice little spot to get out...

"The owner of property was helpful, patience, advised us the short cut to go places. The kitchen is well equipped with pot and pan, coffee and tea. Thanks. (Want to retract the check-in experience, the owner showed me the emails regarding the instructions, unfortunately, the emails went to Junk/ spam, so I didn’t receive the emails directly from the owner)."

"The property was very clean. The host stayed in communication at all times and assisted with any requests we had. Check in was easy and we were within walking distance to the Parthenon and local shops/restaurants."

"The apartment was really clean and the neighbourhood is good. Megaro Mousikiss stop is 5 mins away by talk and acropolis is 15 mins away by metro. Very accessible and apartment had everything one could need for short stays apart from toothpaste and toothbrushes."

"We really enjoyed our stay at The Modernist. The hotel is in a quiet and lovely part of Athens, though very quick and easy to visit the main attractions from here. Breakfast was fabulous and staff all friendly and helpful. Kolonaki has many great non-touristy restaurants too. Would highly recommend. "

"I loved having an apartment Kolinaki - it’s a very safe and pretty area with nice restaurants and high end shops. Once I got in touch with the host, communication was great but I had to call first to confirm everything. The wear of the show was the rooftop porch with a view of the acropolis and being able to watch the lights coming on as the sunset set. Great little kitchen and it was nice to have a washer dryer."

"The hotel was amazing!! Staff very helpful and Dimitri’s the valet porter was fabulous. The lady at breakfast was fabulous. There was a gas problem and they couldn’t make breakfast and she held it all together to make everyone happy making cappuccinos and Americanos."
