"Vincent was wonderful and took great care of us. We felt welcomed upon arrival and the room was very nice. The traditional breakfast was fantastic and we have had it 100x before - they just do it better. After check out, they let us hang and relax by the pool as we waited for our shuttle, not making us feel rushed at all - very hospitable the whole time!"

"The hotel room was spacious and clean. The property is clean, well-decorated, and we felt very safe. The staff was very friendly and appreciated a friendly conversation. Many of the staff recognized my partner and me and remembered our drink orders. The pool is absolutely beautiful and well-maintained, but we wish there were more pool chairs with umbrellas, as the sun is very intense. "It is a very beautiful property with amazing views! The staff was very friendly. They were constantly cleaning. The food was great and reasonably priced. (We have had a hard time with finding good food for a good price in the previous places we stayed. The beach was incredible! It is a a tough drive on gravel would recommend a 4 wheel drive with good tires. We had a small car and had to go very slow. There is three creeks that need to be crossed we were okay because it is the dry hot season."

"Our stay at Hotel Amira was beyond expectations and exceptional. The location and the staff, especially the hotel manager, went above and beyond to make our stay more than comfortable. "Extremely secure and secluded. Villa to villa distance is quite far and we could not see or hear anyone else. Grounds are very large, beach is pretty much private but you should know it’s a bit of a walk from some of the villas around to the restaurant and beach. Private pool was very nice and overall good stay. Staff were friendly and helpful and very easy to communicate with, 10/10 for the staff! "

"Hung up in unbelievable traffic in Santa Cruz, I was not able to check into the hotel until 7 AM the next day when they reopened. So I don't have the overnight experience one expects. That said, the room was very clean, the shower had good hot water, and I did get a morning nap on the bed. Fort7nately, it is off the road a bit. But noise carries and young Costa Ricans love their motorcycles. So if you are super noise sensitive that might bother you, but the traffic is really light on that...

"Gracias a Dios que solo habíamos reservado 1 noche en esta propiedad. Cuando llegamos a hacer check in alrededor de las 3pm todo estaba bien. Alrededor de las 5pm se fue la luz en la propiedad. Pensamos que esto iba a ser pasajero sin embargo la luz no regresó hasta el día siguiente alrededor de las 10am. Es importante mencionar que las otras propiedades de alrededor si contaban con luz. Al estar sin luz por casi 12 horas la comida que teníamos en el refrigedor se puso mala. Claramente no había...

"Rooms were clean and comfortable. Staff was fantastic and you could not beat the location. Pool was perfect. The only downside was the street noise. You could hear all the vehicles (we were on the main floor). Not a deal breaker for sure!"
