"We stayed in the most extraordinary room I have ever seen. All four windows overlooked the rooftops of Bologna. The light at all hours was like a painting. The remote control shades gave you control of the amount of light you experienced. It was complely private but you could see the cathedrals and towers unobstructed.

"We have stayed in a number of hotels in Bologna and this is by far our favourite. We enjoyed our stay and the service we received so much that we canceled reservations we had at another hotel for later in our trip and booked with the Touring Hotel for our return. The area is an older residential area, not so touristy, but the essential spots in Bologna were all within an easy walk. The view from the rooftop cafe made for a great start to our trip. "

"Last minute booking and I was treated to a gorgeous room with a balcony on the edge of Piazza Maggiore. Fantastic location!
The place wasn’t fancy with front desk, buffets etc, but perfect for a solo traveller wanting a local experience. Breakfast “Italian style” is included at the nearby cafe.
The Piazza is noisy, but the windows are soundproof and you wouldn’t know there was a sole outside.
