"We enjoyed another relaxing stay here in a beautiful, spacious suite with a private garden. We wished we could have stayed longer. We’ve been eating and staying here since our first visit in 1991, so they’re doing something right. We love the village, the grounds with the lawn to the stream, and the nearby villages. Staff were friendly and helpful, supplying fans in the heatwave. The food was excellent - we ate dinner outside on the terrace, from the bar menu - and breakfast the next morning was equally good. It was a shame that builders were repairing pathways with some noise and dust. Nevertheless, we’ll be back."
