"As soon as I arrived I was greeted by Brad who offered to carry my bags and explained a lot of information about the local area, and said if I needed anything to just let him know. The building is easily accessible from the car park with the use of a key card which allows you to come and go at all hours. "This is a nice hotel in a great location. The staff were very friendly and helpful, which really stood out. Dinner was excellent but on the pricey side. The cost of the room was also a little higher than I would have expected. Overall I rate the hotel as 4 stars. It would have been 5 stars if the room rates had been a little lower."

"My room was in the coach house, just outside tje doors of the main building. It was very clean with just baked biscuits and Tregothnan tea. A gorgeous view of the garden was welcoming on arrival."

"Very spacious with every facility in the lodge that you need. The hot tub is fabulous and we were left a lovely bottle of Prosecco and chocolates alongside tea and coffee etc. The owners thought of everything. Would definitely recommend. "

"Really enjoyed our stay in this lovely Manor House. Jakes and Jane were extremely welcoming and friendly. Our room was very comfortable. Tea, coffee and biscuits provided in room daily were very welcomed after a day walking on the Moors. An amazing breakfast every morning which was delicious. Lovely and peaceful location with easy access to Dartmoor and Cornwall. Would definitely stay here again."
