"The staff are great at this hotel. Rooms are large, water is hot and fast, lots of parking, and the location is fab for the town, river and park."

"2 ieme étage pas d’ascenseur, escalier environ 60 cms de large. Pas d’AC, il faisait au moins 32 dans la chambre. Pas de douche seulement un bain dangereux. Parking très difficile. Déjeuner vraiment de base."

"Old carpets, full of hair, bathroom taps needed a quick degree of understanding how to get the shower working:( Fan was very dusty and couldn't use without getting it cleaned. bearing in mind not all the rooms had AC as described online."

"Check in was quick and efficient. Being able to park for no additional charge was great. Great location for all the main parts of Peterborough. Room was exceptionally silent the whole day and night. A few doors in the morning but that's to be expected. Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was lovely and clean. Nets at the window and black out curtains. Very much an upgrade on the usual Travelodge I normally stay at due to cleanliness and staff. Room was spacious enough"

"Expectations exceeded reality. Initially the astetics of arriving at the pub/hotel looked promising and the ambiance of the bar area pleasent with polite reception staff.The room (4) was at first site ok, but a more detailed look revealed a more dirty aspect and not as expected. The windows slatted blind very dusty, corner of the bathroom by the door, grime. Black mold in the shower around the metal shelf, the shower head holder broken and loosy fitted the drooping shower head. Under the bed...

"Got to the property late (as pre arranged) and managed to locate the reception person after finding the emergency number. Room was clean but a little tired looking apart from a new thick carpet. Facilities generally good but no plug sockets next to the bedside tables. I am a CPAP user so had to have the power lead running from the desk area on one side of the room to the bedside table on the other side creating a trip hazard across the floor."

"Far to warm. No air con in rooms just a plug in fan to circulate the warm air. Can open window a few inches but does nothing to cool the temperature. Someone's toe nail left on floor. Hair dryer didn't work. Breakfast was ok. Glad to leave to get air con in car. Won't be booking this place if it's warm again!!!!! Did ask staff not really interested."

"Very comfortable bed, clean room We stayed for 2 nights. At check-in, we did not notice the sign in reception that you need to ask for a room refresh (before noon) We needed clean cups, glasses, tbags, but we asked in the pub on the second day and all were provided. The only downside is there isn’t really anywhere in the bathroom to dry towel on a two night stay, so maybe best to ask for refresh Excellent value for money"

"Second we have stayed as we are visiting extended family. Didnt spend alot of time here this time but the time before we had a meal and drinks. Beautiful place. Food amazing and the staff are lovely. Bedrooms are very nice and comfy"

"Lovely place, lovely people, lovely breakfast. No air conditioning was a bad feature. The fan provided had no impact. If it had been the heatwave week it would have been unbearable."

"I went gor two nights during the heatwave. The room was lovely and cool the first night, but on night two the ac was on but not cool and I boiled all night - used the fan but its not the same. Im guessing but either they forgot I was there for a second night and turned it off, or they'd run out of ad blue or similar. I was too tired to say a thing but sleeping with a fan in your face doesn't compare to ac. Also the cokes out of the fridge weren't cold, and the chocolate melted. And shower...

"Hotel old and tired, smelled strange! Room boiling hot no fan supplied. Food served was not as described on menu and of poor quality for the price. Breakfast tables had not been cleared difficult to find a clean one. Poor selection on a buffet breakfast, eggs inedible. Staff pleasant but seemed happier when outside chatting and smoking. I would not stay here again or recommend to anyone."
