"Many thoughtful amenities. Sleeps an intimate two, not three as promised on both Expedia and another booking site. Host ignored Expedia message request for use of (non-existent) sofa bed and instead sent a direct email with door code. "This property is right on the river with lots of shopping and restaurants in easy access. I appreciated the availability of a parking permit, since all the street parking says permit only. They were smart to leave the washer manual in the welcome notebook as I had no idea how to operate this style of washer. Check in info was sent to our what’s app, which makes a lot of sense, since they draw travelers from all over the world. I wish we could have stayed longer!"

"We had a lovely short stay at Macbeth’s Hillock. The cottage was clean, cosy and comfortable, with everything we needed. We mainly stayed there overnight while travelling, but I also cooked dinner there, which worked very well. The location is peaceful, close to local sights, and right next to a farm with beautiful sheep, which made the stay feel even more charming. A very pleasant place for our short stay."

"Dated requiring refurbishment also when we opened bedroom there was loads of birds droppings on the corner of the window cill because there was a house Martin or swallow had been nesting therefor had to close window and get no fresh air.
