"breakfast was so so"

"Very nice accommodations and great hot breakfast. Housekeeping in breakfast clean up was a bit rude when it was time for her to clean. We had a table by ourselves playing cards and she said we had to move so she could mop but then she just drug the mop over the floor and didn’t even mop where we were. Overall very nice stay"

"We enjoyed oir stay overall. The woman who helped during the breakfast was very nice and we enjoyed our conversation. The breakfast itself was good, but not a lot of options and not cooked to order. The only eggs were hard boiled and there was no bacon or sausage or ham. I would describe it as more continental. The rooms were good and comfortable, but the walls.were definitely thin between. Bedrooms. The location was great and we did enjoy checking out all interesting history of the...

"2 bedroom, 2 bath condo was great for getting together with friends. This is my 5th stay at village by sea condos. This particular condo was a little dated but clean and comfortable. It is close to everything, beaches, restaurants and ogunquit playhouse."

"We were given 1 key for our room at check in and sadly we locked that key in our room (our fault) accidently. I went to the office and all of the lights were off and no one answered the door. I tried to call, their phone number +1 207-646-9210 and it was an out of service phone number. I called Expedia customer service and the representitive sent an email to the office that was never answered. We were locked out of our room for that very cold night. The TV was also not functioning and we were...

"Very clean updated room, our dog loved the low windows to look out at everything. We traveled off season so was very quiet. There didn’t seem to be any staff on site, had to call to get questions answered, but coffee machine in room was clean, we used that and all was good. Would consider staying there again next trip."

"The staff themselves are extremely nice however the constant slamming of doors and stomping on the stairs kept us awake. Woke up to the police doing a drug bust on the backside of our room. Other guests is what ruined this hotel experience for us. Thank god we stayed only one night but it definitely was upsetting that we didn’t get rest prior to our departure days adventures."

"Very clean room, nice cozy place to stay for a few days, walking distance from Hannaford and a few food places, Only thing is I wish there was an easier way to check in, the check in process was a bit stressful as I had to call a number and could barely understand what he was saying due to all the traffic going by Overall, good place to stay after figuring out check in if you’re looking for something budget friendly"

"We had the best stay here! It was very cozy, clean and at a perfect distance to town."

"We had a very nice stay. Staff was very accommodating and responsive. Room was very nice and clean. Keep in mind that this is an older traditional mansion style home with very good amenities, so I believe any reviews that you read from others referencing the “dated” nature of anything is misguided and not aligned with expectations. If you want modern, go to a hotel, if you want history, and traditional look in a manor type setting, then this place is perfect. It is very charming and a perfect...

"A special hotel. Beautiful setting, unique one-of-kind inn. So very Maine coastal. Staff could not have been more appropriately available, helpful, kind. Lovely experience all around."

"Property is well maintained and rooms are clean and in good order upon arrival. Like a lot of hotels they have gone to full cleanings every three days rather than daily but did respond to daily requests such as towels and tissue. We’ve stayed here before and will likely do so again"

"The location is very convenient to visit city center."

"Every thing was great"

"Great place to stay and relax!"
