"The room was too small, couldn't get round the bed without banging your foot. Also nowhere to put your suitcase other than the bed to empty it. You couldn't sit on the loo without banging your knees on the shower cubicle"

"A nice big room with ample parking. In a quiet location just outside the town. No staff on site but a key lock to each room. Spoke to staff on the phone who were very helpful to check everything was ok. "

Being able to walk down to the River Usk and wander for miles through the open fields was such a special experience. "Me, my partner and our two dogs stayed at rabbit hill hut for a week this July and honestly couldn't fault it. It had everything you could need. The Shepard's hut was perfect for the 4 of us to sleep, get washed and prepare light meals. The enclosed garden was fantastic for our lurcher and springer spaniel, they loved interacting with the horses and sheep in the next field, and we loved the extra seating area. Only met the host once in passing, he was really lovely to talk to about the area and...
