"Well maintained hotel on the Loch Ness. No complaints, just wish it had some AC!"

"My partner and I remarked that the woman at the front desk was the first unfriendly person we had met in the highlands. When we got to the room, it was un-vacuumed and there were grease smears on all surfaces and the headboard. Each of the cups in coffee corner were dirty with lip marks/greasy fingerprints."

"Clean, small room. Flat pillows, thin walls-could hear the person next room snoring. Breakfast doesn’t start til 8 on weekends, so not useful for an early flight. It is close to the airport which is why I picked it"

"I was a bit apprehensive bringing a group here due to previous reviews and I can honestly say I was pleasantly surprised the rooms were a good size , bathrooms seemed almost brand-new, tea coffee facilities, hairdryer, bathroom amenities etc all as you would expect. nice big parking areas, bar was great staff were great and the breakfast was also a decent offering for the Price. "Lovely room and very helpful staff. Location was very good in that it was close to downtown for easy access but not in an overly busy area or heavy with traffic. We were surprised when we arrived that the “on site” included parking referred to street parking but it did not turn out to be an issue. "This is a beautifully maintained building with so much character and personalized love put into it; we loved our stay! It is slightly off the “path” of larger hotels, making it perfect for us. It is so close to town, we easily popped over a walking bridge for dinner and then found the best cafe for breakfast. "I really want to give the place five stars but there are several issues the we encountered during our stay. 1. There is no customer service. You can't call the front we have to walk there from another building. No conditioner in the bathrooms. 2. The only luxury in the place is the space. It's spacious but not luxurious. "Unbelievable atmosphere; we were met at the door with a big welcome. We were seated in the reception area and offered a glass of champagne while we checked in. We were escorted to our room and familiarized with the amenities. Afternoon tea was wonderful! Everything was wonderful from start to finish!
