"Website details & pictures; a different story to reality. Initial reception - given questionnaire with another guests details, spoke of our ‘standard room’ which I pointed out was incorrect - booked a superior room. MUCH whispering with a colleague and tapping of computer keyboard then told to wait whilst they sorted out a glitch with the system and issues with the superior room availability. "This is a really good hotel. The location is great for the theatres and cinema in Nottingham. It's in front of Rock City and a 20 min walk from the station. There are good restaurants nearby but the hotel also has 2 restaurants, room service and bar meals. It's worth upgrading to use the Club Lounge too. Comfy beds, quiet rooms and a bath! Theres a pool and soa too. No complaints!"

"Was in a great location for bars and restaurants- we had a lovely quiet room and a great nights sleep. Room was cosy and had everything we needed. Lovely bathroom and easy to use amenities in the room."

"The standard double room was much smaller than expected, and the bed was two singles pushed together with a thin double topper, which made the bed very uncomfortable and lumpy. We told reception after the first night and they arranged for a better topper to be put on. If the standard double was this small then the small double must have been tiny. The bathroom was a good size though.
Rooms are only cleaned if specifically requested at reception the night before. This wasn't made clear - there...
