"We will never be returning to the Edgewater. We had some bad customer service. The car shuttle service was excellent, and the valet staff was friendly and nice. However, the front desk and the general manager failed us. When I called requesting housekeeping, the staff member had a language barrier and didn’t follow through on getting someone to come clean our room. We went two days without housekeeping despite multiple requests. I also asked twice to have the sheets and linens changed, and no one ever showed up. I ended up waking up with a rash on my face from the dirty bedding,. When we returned to our room, towels were everywhere and the garbage was overflowing. The manager showed up seeming like he had a stick up his a**, he was distasteful, dismissive, defensive and accusatory, he seemed offended that we’d ask for fair compensation for a bad experience on our wedding night. The front desk’s failure to follow through and the manager’s hostile attitude really ruined what should have been a memorable experience. 2/10 definitely not recommended."
