"Beautiful property and convenient to airport. I stayed there my last night in Edinburgh. Setting is peaceful and lovely. Only downside was that there was mildew in the caulking in the bathtub/shower, which was surprising given that the rest of the property was well maintained."

"We needed a one-night layover following a lengthy tour around Scotland and the Hilton Doubletree fit the bill nicely. Perfect location with courtesy shuttle to the airport, and easily accessible from downtown Edinburgh via taxi, Uber or Lyft. A surprisingly nice restaurant in the hotel provided us with a very good dinner the night before our departure back to the US."

"We loved our time at Carberry Tower! The estate was stunning and the staff were very helpful. We walked in the gardens and the woods behind the estate - breathtaking! Our dinner and breakfast were delicious. I only wish we had arrived soon enough for the high tea which looked perfect. This will be a favourite memory from our European vacation! Thank you from a perfect stay!"

"We stayed for just one night so we’re not able to enjoy the full experience. The weather was unusually warm so we upgraded to a room with AC. The AC didn’t really cool the room so we ultimately had to open the slider to cool the room. Our experience would likely have been more enjoyable if we had stayed longer and didn’t have to utilize AC."

"Hotels in Edinburgh can be quite pricey, and this was a good hotel at a reasonable price. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the room was clean. The room feels a bit older and a tad worn, but it met our needs of clean, safe, convenient, and affordable. It’s a little bit off the beaten path, but it is still possible to walk to Old Town if you are up for a longer walk. If not, there is a bus stop immediately outside the hotel that made it very convenient to hop on a bus to the city...

"The Point A was a short walk from the Haymarket station, which was quite convenient. The beds were very comfortable and bathrooms well appointed. The only drawback was the size of the rooms, which are pretty tight. Would not recommend for someone with a lot of luggage! Otherwise a great place with excellent staff."
