"Fantastic 2 night stay for an Alton Towers family trip. Brilliant host who helped us hope with the heat and even provided a cute treasure hunt in the cottage for the kids! The secret kids shed was also a big highlight! Very nice pub within walking distance as well as a handy local convenience store nearby too! Would definitely recommend :)"

"I want to give a really balanced view about The Stone House Hotel. I was staying for two nights on business and I found all of the colleagues that worked there to be extremely friendly and helpful. The food served is of a high quality. I had both the breakfast and items from their Indian menu - everything was really good. The downsides are: there is no air conditioning in the hotel. I know we are in the peak of summer but the rooms were stiflingly hot - the single fan provided just wasn't...
