"We loved the location being so near the Culloden battlefield and Clava Cairns. Additionally, Inverness was a short drive with easy access. The property was lovely and we took advantage of walking the gardens. The library and drawing rooms were perfect to enjoy a cocktail and the breakfast and dinner were terrific. Lastly, the staff were personable and helpful."

"This historic building is in the perfect location. The dining area is remodeled and absolutely beautiful. Food is really good. The rooms are very nice as well. Just remember there’s no lifts to rooms as it’s a historic building. The location is so close to rail and bus stations. The staff is super nice and very helpful with any needs you might have. Would highly recommend staying here."

"This was a fantastic place to stay in Inverness! The staff were beyond friendly and helpful! Every interaction was sincere and made us feel welcomed. The room was very clean and spacious. We did not stay on the property for breakfast but the staff were happy to recommend a local bakery just down the street. Additionally the property is very close to the city center and was only a short walk away from many of the pubs!"

"The hostel was situated in such a serene and peaceful location that I instantly fell in love with it. It honestly became one of the best hostels I’ve ever stayed in. "The property was located about 10 minutes from train station-very convenient. The room was small but very clean. Housekeeping came in daily. The one concern was the hot water which very hot. Possibility of scalding if not careful."
