"The hotel is very clean. The staff is wonderful and will do anything to help. They even stayed way past the normal end of check-in time because our plane was so late getting to Inverness. I would definitely recommend Smithton Hotel!"

"Room wasn't clean - the trash hadn't been emptied and had paperwork, tissues and a pair of socks clearly in the bin. The shower wasn't clean - mould on tiles and in grout throughout the shower and fittings. Hotel was completely booked so couldn't be changed to another room. "

"When arriving at property, door locked. Supposed to use app for info. Neither of us was able to download the app. ended up calling expedia and still waiting for return call when knocked on door and were told that the door would be unlocked at 1600. Great location. parking tight but adequate for us. Room small but adequate and lovely!"

"Right on the river ness. Walking /running path very convenient . Quiet are but not far from pubs and restaurants. Bfast was lovely each day and their dinner good too. No elevators so just be aware. We preferred second floor room to first."

"Location to city center and airport is very good. However it is right by the road and train tracks. The room is very dated and bathroom flooring is old. Not sure of any amenities. Check-in is easy and smooth. It met our needs for a one night stay before our flight but thought the price was high for this location."

"We did not even stay here. We moved to another hotel in Inverness for 2 nights. Our room was 5 flights up. , without any assistance. We are two women who struggled carrying our luggage up those flights of stairs. Also, the entry instructions to door codes etc were confusing on day of arrival "
