"The Rocpool is a great place to stay in Inverness. It’s walkable into town, with a little uphill climb. The staff was incredibly helpful, and the room itself was very comfortable. The A/C was a huge plus since it was unusually warm during our stay. "Nice large room with sitting areas and large windows. Updated bathroom. with separate shower and tub. Beautiful views of the River Ness. Great outdoor beer garden/brewery and distillery on site. Beer garden was especially nice to hang out after dinner. Restaurant on-site was very good. Breakfast was the typical full English breakfast. Had dinner there twice and both times the food and service were excellent. Easy walking distance to town. Desk staff were very helpful."

"The main property was nice but don’t be deceived. There is an outbuilding where we were placed. It was old, carpets dirty, and just not what I expected for the price we paid. The grounds are nice but this is located in the city in a neighborhood. I felt it was misrepresented. That said, their scones were good."

"The property was located about 10 minutes from train station-very convenient. The room was small but very clean. Housekeeping came in daily. The one concern was the hot water which very hot. Possibility of scalding if not careful."

"Having a restaurant and bar on site was very helpful when getting in late. Staff was very helpful and fun (Jonathan and Isley). Good selection of whiskey and our room was very fancy. No mini-fridge and the most expensive place we stayed on our trip but it was great and we'd go back. Free parking is a bonus."

When we got to the room the asset was locked and we could not use it. Went back down to the front desk to ask for help. "Fantastic food and very nice rooms. The staff were also great with the a special mention of the girl with the awesome pink hair - she was a great host! The food was great, we recommend the scallops, duck and venison dishes. We stayed in room 6 which was lovely and a really nice ensuite bathroom. Very quiet and slept well so can’t complain!"
