"I was pleasantly surprised with how nice our room was. It was fully updated and most importantly, clean. I didn't realize that I had booked an efficiency room. We didn't use the kitchen but it had everything that you could want or need including a full size refrigerator. We had a private balcony and it was such a pleasure to sit and relax there. Also, parking wasn't terrible unlike most Jersey Shore motels at which it's usually a cramped nightmare.
The beds and pillows are incredibly uncomfortable. We were a family of 4 with 2 queen beds but only 3 pillows on each bed. We all needed 2 of these pillows to be comfortable. When I went to the office to ask for 2 more pillows I got some weird song and dance between the two employees behind the counter about pillows. In the end I left the office with the promise of finding one more pillow and bringing it to my room. Never happened. Whatever, it's so not a big deal but it's such a small thing and such a common request to be so weird about it. I have to say everybody was very nice though.
All that being said, this is my new go to motel in Wildwood. We will be back."
