"The lake view double was clean & perfect for our stay.
Staff in all areas of the hotel were very helpful & polite.
Breakfast was plentiful & of very good quality.
Had a great stay. Thanks 👍"
"Love this hotel… and been here twice now and a great welcome from Justine. However the breakfast offering seems to be out of kilter with the rest of the service in the hotel, spa and pub. When you arrive they show you to a table and that’s it after that it’s a nightmare, you have to get your own tea and coffee and then have to carry a mug, milk, spoon and teapot back to the table ohh forget about the sugar so back up you go. Just feels very unorganised. We will go back but not have breakfast here again."
"The hotel is lovely currently having a refurbishment can’t wait to see what it looks like. Our stay was still excellent and we were updated about the ongoing work. views from the terrace and room were amazing. All staff were fab but special mention to the 3 lads behind the bar and serving meals friendly polite and overall excellent."
"Arrived and there was a lovely man who greeted us in our car. Pointed us in the right direction. Check in was quick & easy & staff lovely & welcoming.
Room was lovely. Bigger than we expected. Bed was so comfy!
Breakfast was delicious. All fresh & hot & lots of choice! Unfortunately we were unable to get in either of the restaurants as they were fully booked. Booking online before you go is a must!
Highly recommend & would definitely book again!"
"We had the most amazing stay at the Castle Inn to celebrate my daughter's 21st birthday. The spa facilities were spacious and clean and we felt so relaxed there.
The staff were friendly and super helpful - I brought a small shop bought birthday cake with me and the chef turned it into a work of art which was amazing and much appreciated by my daughter.
We booked a classic double but were given a lovely big room with views towards the hills, space for comfy chairs and a very nice bathroom with a bath!
The breakfast was really well done and we were looked after so well in the restaurant. If I was being picky, I would say the dinner menu wasn't that extensive so we only ate there one evening... but what we did have was cooked beautifully and was tasty.
All together though, it was a brilliant stay and I would love to come back again soon."
